And that number will continue to grow as Rowlett is located in two of the fastest-growing counties in the U.S, Rockwall and Dallas. From a training perspective, Rowlett is served by both the Dallas County Community College District-Brookhaven and Collin County College. Both offer strong workforce training programs for various types of companies. At the high school level, Garland ISD is currently constructing a new, state-of-the art Career and Technical Center that will offer more than 90 advanced-level CRE courses ranging from cybersecurity to fabrication and is slated to open in the Fall 2017. Additionally, Rockwall ISD is also building a new state-of-the-art College and Career Academy.
